Founded by entrepreneur William Rahr in 1847 as the Eagle Brewery in Manitowac, Wisconsin, today Rahr Malting Co. operates modern malting facilities at their company headquarters in Shakopee, Minnesota, and in Alix, Alberta, Canada. Rahr also conducts barley procurement and distribution in Taft, North Dakota. |
